Green Sheet and Picture Reminder

The green sheets with date choices for the First Communion retreat and mass are due by Wed., Jan 25, however that date will be extended to Sun., Jan 29th. Although we have not had Faith Formation classes for two weeks, the sheets may be put in the box on the counter outside the Faith Formation offices when you come to mass on Sunday. Please note that the May 5th First Communion mass is closed. Please only choose May 12th at 11:00 or 2:00. Also, if you have not yet turned in a wallet sized picture of the child who will be celebrating First Communion, you may place that in the box as well. Please be sure that the child's full name is on the back. The poster will be assembled and hung up next week. Any pictures not received by Sun., Jan 29th will not be displayed.

First Communion Parent Meetings

This is to remind families with a child who will be celebrating First Communion in May of the upcoming parent meetings. At least one parent needs to attend ONE of these MANDATORY meetings. These meeting are for parents only. You will be receiving materials to work on to prepare for First Communion at home. You will also be given important program and specific First Communion mass information at this meeting. Failure to attend one of these meetings will jeopardize your child's placement in the first sacrament preparation program. First Reconciliation

The First Reconciliation Celebration is scheduled for this Saturday, November 19 at 10:00 AM. The children may bring an Act of Contrition written on paper with them if needed. The children should examine their conscience at home so they are prepared to speak to the priest. Please arrive by 9:45 to allow time to check in. We will begin promptly at 10:00.

Reconciliation Interviews Reminder

This is to remind everyone of the upcoming Reconciliation interviews. Please arrive on time for your scheduled interview. Please bring the completed book and worksheets including the child's original prayer with you to the interview.Interviews are scheduled on Thurs., November 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 and Sat., November 5th from 10:00 to 12:00.

Reconciliation Retreat Reminder

This is to remind Reconciliation and First Communion families of the upcoming Reconciliation retreats. The child who will be celebrating Reconciliation and at least one parent MUST attend ONE of these mandatory retreats. Please arrive at least ten minutes early to allow time for check-in. Retreats will begin promptly at the time listed. You do not need to bring anything with you to the retreat. Failure to attend one of these retreats will jeopardize your child's placement in the First Sacrament preparation process.Retreat dates and times are as Follows:Thursday, October 20 at 4:30pm -OR-Sunday, October 23 at 2:45pm

This is a reminder of the upcoming meetings for parents with children who will be celebrating First Reconciliation and First Communion this year. At least one parent MUST attend One of these mandatory meetings. The meeting is for parents only. You will receive materials that you will need to work on with your child at home and you will be given all the program details and requirements at this time. There will be no make-up times provided for these meetings. Failure to attend on of these meetings will jeopardize your child's placement in the First Sacraments preparation program. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to check in. Meeting dates and times: Thursday, September 15th at 6:30pm OR Sunday, September 18th at 2:45pm
